Munduk Driver Tour started from a simple observation: most visitors to Bali never make it to the highlands, and the ones who do usually get rushed through it as a single stop on a bigger tour-bus itinerary. We wanted to do it differently — slower, more personal, and run by people who actually live here.
Local, not a franchise
We’re based in Munduk itself, not Denpasar or Kuta. Every driver has spent years on these roads — through the fog, the switchbacks, and the seasons when the waterfalls change completely. That’s not something a company dispatching drivers from the south can replicate.
Why we price per car, not per person
Most tour operators price per person, which quietly penalizes couples and small groups. We price per car instead — the price on Munduk Waterfalls & Lake Tamblingan or any other package is what you pay whether it’s one person or four, plus entrance fees paid directly on-site so there’s no markup hidden in the package price.
What we won’t do
We won’t rush you through a stop just to hit a schedule, and we won’t push you into paid photo spots or souvenir stops you didn’t ask for. If a trail is unsafe that day — high water, storm warnings — we’ll tell you honestly and suggest an alternative, like swapping a waterfall trek for the gentler Twin Lakes & Ulun Danu Temple Tour, rather than taking you anyway.
